I met Bear the first time on one of his 9/11 trips to Shanksville PA...Since then we have met at many events throughout NY and we have exchanged friendly greetings...Bear will be missed...For years Bear and I had identical motorcycles H-D Softtail Sunglow Red...

To the Family of the Great Bear, I am so sorry for Your loss. I too was a graduate of WG in '73 but we really did not know each other really until I joined in with him on his awesome political debates and discussions. I really admired the way the Bear would not mince words and You knew exactly how he felt about things and he was never shy about expressing his opinions. We are so sorry to hear about Gerry´s passing. He was always so kind and friendly to everyone. My parents Rudy and Lil Muolo always spoke highly of him and my sister Cheryl and I remember him and his family always being very fun. I had the chance to know him through gymnastics. Deb, I´m keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Seeing you and Bear at Sagamore was one of the highlights of our work weekends. He was truly a great guy.
