Not sure what to say?

Dear Karen, Steve & family - we were very sorry to hear of the passing of your father. He sounded like he had a rich and rewarding life. We know how difficult it is to lose your parents having been through this in the past few years. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. May fond memories help you cope with his loss. Fondly, Dianna & Andy Leight

Dear Jim and family, I was saddened to hear of your fathers passing, I remember the one time I cut school (I could never get away with anything) Mr Vaira took my father into his office and told him that he felt the Detention and embaressment of getting caught was punishment enough. I will forever be grateful to him for that, because I was so afraid to go home before that. After that I have always had the upmost respect for him and am very sorry for your loss. God Bless you all. Gail Hammons

June and Family,

I just heard the news of Fran's passing. I very much enjoyed the years we spent on the Farm Bureau board together, and the good advice he gave when I served as President. He was a great man and good friend.

June, Dale, Jim and Karen:

I just received the news of Fran's passing. I was so sad and sorry to hear of it. You and your family were such a wonderful part of my childhood. I know that you've been a great support system for my parents and we were lucky to have you as our neighbors and friends. Fran lived such a wonderful, full and successful life--we can only hope to achieve as much in our lifetime. We will miss him.

Although new to the area and not knowing him directly, I enjoyed hearing stories and saw the warm feelings held by his Masonic brothers. He was a treasure. John Stettler, Amador Lodge #65

Dear Jim. We are sorry for the loss of your Dad. What an amazing life he lead. Please give our condolances to your Mom, Brother, and Sister. Your Neighbors, Dean, Lisa, Amanda, Kait, and Joseph Wilson

Dear June and family,

I feel truly blessed to have had this incredible man as our principal at Jackson High. He instilled in me values and leadership qualities that to this day I follow and have passed on to my children. Fran's impact on Amador County and Jackson will remain forever. He has been so special to the Nesbit family and we know that he will be missed by all.

June, Karen, Dale and Jim,
My deepest sympathy goes out to you on the death of Mr. Vaira. He will always be Mr. to me and Fran to my father. I took picutes of Mr. Vaira at the reunion a year ago and my father was pleased to see pictures of his old class chum living in Fiddletown and going to Amador. As a student, he was a principal that respected what you had to say and in turn you respected him. He will be missed!! Our prayers go out to you and your family.

June, Dale, Jim, and Karen
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Fran has made his mark in Amador County history. Gold Bless you, Fran.
