Francis "Sonny" VanDeusen Sr.

Our Sweet Sonny was one of the best and I had the honor to know him my whole life. Sonny always showed up to every event with a smile on his face and his gentle nature was received by everyone. Sonny carried a peace with him and growing up I always noticed that about him. God blessed our family with Sonny. We all got to make many wonderful memories together. To Sonny´s family and friends We are so sorry to hear of Sonny´s passing. We have both worked and served with him for many years. Our respect for him and what he stood for can´t be measured. After not seeing him for years we last saw him at a UNCW basketball game here in Wilmington and it was like old times. We have all lost a special person who we will remember until we meet again.
