So sorry to hear of Buddy's passing. I use to be a food demonstrator at Sam's club for years and loved chatting with him and telling me stories and so proud of his harmonica . Such a wonderful man. My heart goes out to his lovely wife and family. Prayers to each of you . Rest in Peace my friend.

In the thirty odd years I knew Buddy I can't say that I ever saw a frown on his face unless he couldn't find something. He was the most upbeat man I have ever known, full of energy, a ready and firm handshake and somewhere on him a harmonica or two!
I will miss his special gift of making everyone feel at ease, his ability to listen to whatever you were saying as if it were the most important news of the day. He and Eva were a great match and serve as a great example of true...

Buddy was my Granddad, and one of the best men I have ever known. I have never known a more giving soul or a bigger heart and doubt I ever will again. I was certainly blessed to have him in my life and witness many of his good deeds and greatness. I have so many wonderful memories of my youth, from vacations to being my Granddad's Magician's helper to Santa's helper to Busch Gardens and beyond. But all of memories have a common theme, all were full of love and a warmth that can never be...

Buddy was a wonderful man and shared his gift of harmonicas and teaching harmonicas with me. My father worked with him in the hospital in Wmbg on their harmonica breathing program and Buddy gave me harmonicas and books to start a group here in Colorado where I live. And three years later, we have a great program here going strong. So, thank you Buddy for all of your years of dedication to helping people. You were an inspiration to all who met you! Blessings to your family.

Deeply saddened on hearing of the passing of "Dad" Wakefield. In my early life Buddy was a great mentor for me and set an example of what a person should be. Tidewater DeMolay was a better organization due to his efforts and advise.

I remember Buddy from church as a child, the one who took all the kids on neat trips and was so very connected to each and every one of us. He has lived a good life, made many contributions to the world and will now reside on a special cloud reserved for those who left the world a better place for having been here. If you hear some beautiful music that sounds like harps and a harmonica it will be Buddy playing with the angels, and sending a bit of beauty from heaven. My condolences to the...
