Not sure what to say?

It is sad the way we lose touch with old friends, always meaning to track them down, but never making the extra effort to make contact. And then we learn that a good friend is gone and the regrets are many.
I served in the Army with Gunner, Davey Glover and Tony Kemp and we had many laughs as draftees thrown together in a situation none of us had asked for. Gunner had plenty of stories that had us roaring. We can only imagine how he entertained friends in Phillipsburg with his...

My name is David Glover from just outside Houston, Texas. I knew Gunner while serving in the Army with the 418th Medical Ambulance Company. He was one of the funniest people I ever knew. He could tell a story! I visited back in NJ maybe in the 1980's and had a great time with him, Ron and Tony.

Just learned of his passing today. So sorry.

To Uncle Frank;

It was always great listening to your stories at the kitchen table. They were always the best. Rest in Peace.

Mary Catherine & family, we were so very sorry to hear of Gunner's passing. We go back a very long time ago as best friends and have enough good memories to write a book. You all are in our prayers.

Gunner was a friend in my homeroom at P'burg, late three out of five days a week. He'd burst in in various stages of dress, smile sheepishly at Ms Feely and sit. He was as friendly and unflappable as anyone I've known and will be missed by all whose lives he touched.This time you're way too early.R.I.P.
