Not sure what to say?

In a world seemingly short of authentic heroes, Monsignor Willenburg's legacy as a model of charity, humility, graciousness and kindness stands tall--all qualities of a true servant of Christ and a true hero for everyone who was fortunate enough to know him. We honor his legacy by following his example as the servant-hero to others that Christ wants each of us to be. He will never be forgotten.

You will be missed.

You will be missed my thousands Msgr. Thank you for all your continued blessings for the community. We will always remember you as a very special priest in the Ventura and Mahoney Family.

You will be remembered Mons! Love from the Purpura family

We were so blessed he answered the calling to serve the Lord and to have known him. He was such a kind and caring person. My late father was especially fond of him. Our family was so touched that Father came to my Dad's wake in Utica in 1996 which was 13 years after my parents had retired to Florida. Heaven truly has another angel.

You will be missed. You were a great man, a caring coach, and a wonderful and spiritual priest. We will miss your slightly off key singing as mass opened and I can still hear you offering blessing to your Dear People of God.... rest with our Lord you have earned your place.

Monsignor Willenburg was born to be a pastor and he was a great one-a shepherd who cared for his people with humility and grace. He was a friend of my family and a priest the Catholic Church can be very proud of. He has now been welcomed home by God to join the other saints in heaven.

He Was a friend to so many of us, he was there when you needed him. He will be missed by many.

For all the great summers at Camp Nazareth and for our years at St. Agnes - so many thanks. And as you would always say - " God bless ya!" Fr. Vin Long
