JOE JACKSON HEIGHTS CHAPEL Obituary

FRANCISCA S. ESPINOZA
OCTOBER 4, 1919 ? FEBRUARY 9, 2015

"The Broken Chain?
?We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again." Ron Tranmer

Mrs. Francisca S. Espinoza, 95, a lifelong resident of Laredo, entered into the kingdom of Heaven to join her Lord and Savior on the morning of Monday, 9th of February 2015. During her transition into Heaven, she was surrounded by her loving family in San Antonio, Texas.

Francisca was known to many as ?Panchita?. She instilled a legacy of family, hospitality and unity. She was known for her delicious homemade cooking, especially the following: tortillas, tamales, menudo, and enchiladas, to name a few. Yet, another passion she had was her love for the Dallas Cowboys, San Antonio Spurs, and Houston Astros. She always had a good sense of humor and shared her words of wisdom with a tactful twist. Her love for music, bingo and loteria was a favorite past time with family and friends. Through her battle with cancer, her strength was that of a Hero. Francisca was viewed and respected as the matriarch of her family.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband: George Espinoza, Sr.; son: Raul Espinoza; mother: Enriqueta Juarez; father: Victor Soliz; sisters: Estella and Nicolasa Soliz, Maria Luisa Leal, and Petra Lopez; brothers: Urbano, Victor and Tomas Soliz.

Surviving her and left behind to cherish the many wonderful memories and carry on her legacy are her children: Sylvia (Clint) Smith of Vidor, TX., George Espinoza, Jr. of Conway, AR., Javier (Grace) Espinoza, Hector (Anna) Espinoza of Victoria, TX., Diana E. (Arturo) Miranda of San Antonio, TX., Daniel Espinoza, and Gerardo Torres Ibarra, and her adored grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. She is also survived by her two brothers: Jose (Maria de la Luz) Soliz and Rosendo (Josefina) Soliz, as well as by a great number of nephews, nieces, many beloved extended relatives, and dear friends.

The family would like to give a special heartfelt thanks to her caretakers, Lorenza Salinas and Francisca Holguin, Dr. Arturo Garza-Gongora and staff, Sands Care Health Services and staff, House Calls Home Health and staff, Dr. Manuel Rodriguez and staff, San Antonio Girling Health Care and staff, San Antonio Home Health & Hospice and Staff . Finally, the countless members of the family and friends for their unconditional support and prayers.

The family will be receiving condolences the evening of Wednesday, the 11th of February 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m.
