I just found out about the tragic death of Marti. Very sad.
I saw him last year in Markina when we had a pelotaris lunch and we chat a little bit about our time in Bridgeport and Milford
I will keep his joie de vivre He was always ready to organize things for us .I will remenber him in my mind

I remember the very first time he played at Bridgeport, everyone knew they were watching someone special. He had all the shots and always played hard. I even have one of his cesta's a brand new one his friend Pedro got me. His family knows just how great a man he was, he will remain in my memory and prayers forever....

Did not know him personally. Only a fan from his days at Bridgeport and Milford. Very sad to hear this news.

I loved marti as if he were a second father , we didn't always see eye to eye ,but we loved the same people. If I could think of the best moments that I still hold in my heart today , where martis kind heart ,and honor as a man that I could trust,would never let me down I think of my childhood, and also at my lowest timeswithin my life
