My Dear friend Frank. I miss you dearly.

I met Frank in early 2000 when I was homeless. I would stop by to eat and check my mail. Frank was much more than a volunteer. He was a kind soul with a huge heart. He asked if I could help him with the mail. That little bit of kindness was huge for me at the time. We became friends and I became a fellow St. Louis Cardinal fan. Volunteers from the Notre Dame Club of CO Springs pose with Frank in 2008

It was a pleasure to volunteer with you Frank. The Notre Dame family will always remember you when we serve.

Colorado Springs lost a great man this month. May Frank's spirit of selfless service live on forever. We will miss you Frank.

You were such a joy to work with. You'll be missed, not only at Catholic Charities, but the world will miss your smile.

My visit in May 2013

As a Marian House Soup Kitchen volunteer veteran of twenty-two years, I came to know Frank well. He always appreciated the Marian House volunteers, had a warm smile and firm handshake whenever you greeted him. He will be sorely missed. I can now even hear the Lord say to His humble servant, Frank, "well done, good and faithful servant. I was hungry and you fed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was homeless and you gave me shelter, and I was a stranger and you welcomed me." ...

He will always be in my heart and thoughts forever. He comfort me in time of my own lost and always a good friend indeed. We share a lot of good conversation and laughter. I will miss you and your smile. Love Annie
