Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear of the loss of Kiko. I enjoyed playing with Kiki over the years. He was a fine musician and a wonderful man. Bill Duna.

We totally enjoyed dancing to Kiko's music for decades, the most recent being the Suburban-Winterset Dance Club.

I had the great privilege of making music with Kico thanks to Dawn Hill. As a swing trio with Dawn on keyboards, my vocals and Kico on saxes, flute, maracas and vocals we played many gigs together, and Kico´s beautiful jazzy sax and flute solos were simply magical. Some are captured forever on a CD we did. Kico told me he learned to play the flute by listening to the birds sing outside his window. Kico was a wonderful unique intelligent and talented human being and it was such a treasure to...

Frank and family, holding you up in prayer as you mourn your Dad. What a talented man your father was! Wishing you peace & comfort.

Our deepest condolences to Kiko´s family. My Parents, Wally and Pat Santos had great respect for the entire Rangle family. They talked about how wonderful, and how very talented they all were. In 1996 kiko played for my Parents 50th Wedding Anniversary Party. He played their favorite love songs from the 40´s, and their favorite Mexican Songs, and everyone danced all night to his wonderful music, and had such a great time. Thank you Kiko for making their special occasion one of the most...

Although I didn't know Kico personally. I can see what an incredible impact he made on so many people. I work with Frank his son and I know he is a very kind and caring person, so Kico, you did well. May your family find peace through their memories. RIP

our condolences to this great man and great muscian, Kiko. Our family has played with kiko for many many years. He was an amazing horn player that played with many bands and gigs. He has been a huge influence with many players in the twin cities. He has been recorded countless times both small and large. He is truly the one major long time musician that will be truly missed. oh the memories we shall cherish of KiKO. (Jack Bethke)

My sincere condolences to the family! Kico Rangel was a unique musician and bandleader who performed the traditional style of Mexican music and with his musical skills he also played jazz, rock and big band. Kico was born and raised on the West Side flats in St. Paul. Kico, his sisters and his different bands performed for countless numbers of Latino community events, weddings and holidays for over 70 years. To the end, Kico was still performing. In September, 2019 Kico was honored with the...
