Read MoreDr. Cavallo was our family´s physician for many years...he actually delivered me in Southside Hospital in 1961. He took care of me all through my childhood as well as our entire family. He diagnosed my mother´s leukemia and referred her to one of the best oncologists on Long Island. He was a great man, physician and family friend. May he be at peace.

My family and I are truly saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Francesco E. Cavallo. Dr. Cavallo was the epitome of the Family Doctor. He tended to our family's medical needs for many years and will always be remembered fondly. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Dr. Cavallo was the kindest and most sweet angel of a man . He cared lovingly for my entire family which made a lasting impression on me to become a nurse. I pass his office on Shore and it brings a smile to my face often. RIP Heaven awaits your arrival

Heaven now has the Best Doctor ... I can only hope he's looking after My Father, My Aunt Eleanor and Uncle Bill. If I close my eyes I can still see him pulling into the driveway at our home at 1459 Saint Louis Ave. in Bayshore with his doctors bag overcoat and smile when I was a little boy..:: He will always be part of the fabric of my Family's life....He mended my broken bones got me through the flu so many times along with the measles and mumps .... he treated my Mother's MS ... how...
