Obituary

Peacefully, at his home in London, with his family at his side, on Wednesday, August 7, 2013, Franco Lepore in his 68th year. Much loved and adored husband of 46 years to Teresa. Beloved and respected father of Frank (Christina), Steve and Jeff (Sina). Cherished Nonno of Zackary, Jacob, Elysia, Samuel and Isabella. Loving brother of Pacio, Antonio (Silvia), Guiseppe (Silvana) Lepore. Loving son-in-law of Maria and Orlando Vercillo. Loving brother-in-law of Annetta and Nella Lepore, Phil Vercillo (Laura Lee) and Candida Vercillo. Much loved uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews; beloved friend of many. Predeceased by his parents Michele and Carmela Lepore, his brothers Fortunato, Ettore and Gino, and his sisters Ada Lepore, Alba (Antonio) Pagnotta and his sister-in-law Iolanda Lepore. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St. on Friday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary's Church (345 Lyle at York) on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. followed by entombment in St. Peter's Cemetery, 806 Victoria St, London, ON N5Y 4E1 London. Franco's family wishes to thank Dr. Kirk Hamilton for all his care and support. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Church or the Canadian Cancer Society.

Dear Teresa and family, we send you our deepest condolences and love. Frank was a wonderful man--we always enjoyed the times we spent together over the past 43 years that we have known each other. I just wish that we had lived closer to each other. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. He is with his parents now--peaceful and in their loving embrace. Zia Teresa, Frank, Steve, and Jeff, I am sorry for your loss, and that I cannot be closer to offer my condolences and support. Please know that Zio, and you have been in my thoughts and prayers - I especially remember Zio's contagious smile! Daily, Masses have been offered for you from the Diocese here in Yellowknife, and I will continue to offer prayers and support from afar. Pace e bene during this time.
