Not sure what to say?

Catherine: I just heard today someone mention that Francois died recently, I was absolutely shocked, as I am sure that you also are. He phoned me a couple months ago & said that he was working for N. Nasher and you were moving closer in. Michael is still in Moline (11 years & counting) so rarely home, about once every two months. And then he doesn't want to do anything, just work at home or relax, no socializing per se, so we don't do much here very exciting. I do not go up to Moline, so only...

Dear Catherine,
Words cannot express our sadness. I miss all those nights we sat outside and attempted to figure out life's ups and downs and the laughter we shared. Francois you are one of a kind and I miss you my friend. God Bless you all.

I am shocked and saddened by the news of Francois' passing. When one so full of love for life leaves us, it creates a vacuum that is difficult to understand. Jean and I send our heartfelt condolences to Catherine and the entire family.

Frenchie, you will be missed. The phrases "One of a kind" or "Force of nature" come to mind but they don't even begin to describe your character and personality.
All of my love goes out to Cathy, Antoine and Julia: be strong.
Much love - John

Our thoughts and prayer's are with your family at this difficult time.

Catherine,

Kellie and I were devastated to hear the news. Francois' was indeed a bon vivant and I treasured every opportunity I had to learn from a true master. Nothing I can say can reflect your loss but you have our profound sympathy and our thoughts as we conclude our summer holiday. Our prayers are with you, Antoine and Julia.

Dear Catherine, Antoine, and Julia; I am a friend of the Bakers' and prayed for Francois when he was hurt. I am continuing to pray for the three of you now. Having lost my first husband at an untimely age from a heart attack, I know the sorrow and bewilderment you face now. My our Blessed Lord, Jesus, provide you all with peace and comfort now and in the days to come. Jo Bowen
