Frank was my political mentor in the post-Newark riot 1967 era and it was his advice about establishing a cause for me then living in Irvington that helped me get elected North Ward councilman there. He advised me from the then failed effort to have a police dog effort in the NPD, to work on doing that in Irvington, which Irvington has to this day.
