Not sure what to say?

Mr. Aldrich, Sir, I just finished reading the Book The Mighty Eighth and I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the U.S. Army Air Forces in Europe fighting the the Germans during World War II as a member of the 305th Bomb Group of the 8th Air Force flying the B-17 "Flying Fortess" bomber on bombing missions over Nazi-occupied Europe. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Stu worked for Frank long ago, and we felt like part of his family. There were no finer people than Dora and Frank. The world is a smaller place now that he is gone. We send our deepest sympathies to his family. You were all so lucky. Rowna and Stewart Sutin

"An ode to Uncle Frank"

and Dora querida, his adventurous spirit.

but then we heard his laughter.

We shared 'caipirinhas' overlooking Copacabana,

and admired his stories of friendship around the hemisphere.

His adopted sons and daughters, we feel 'saudades' for our BKB godfather,

...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
