Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Bailey, and family:
It is with great regret that I have learned of your loss. I have known Bill for many years, going back to the days of the Cassidy Group Bulletin. He helped me when I was starting out, supplying pointers and source material. His many books and articles are a major addition to the field of World War One aviation history. He will be missed, but his contribution remains, to us, and to you.

Frank Olynyk,
Historian, American Fighter Aces Association,

Ms Bailey and family,
My sincere condolences for your loss. 'Bills' books were an invaluable resource/reference to me in my research and with the final publication of my book. I am truly sorry for your loss and wish you comfort in the times ahead. He will be missed.

Dolly - My sincere condolences on your loss. Bill was a great, kind man and I will miss him dearly.

His obituary only scratched the surface of his contributions .All should know of the massive number of books and articles he wrote or contributed to that chronicled U.S., British and particularly French aviation history during WW I. He was always a generous friend to serious researchers and amatuers like myself, never failing to answer questions or provide material to help.

Dolly, so sorry to hear about Bill's passing. My heart goes out to you & Richard.
