I have been away from Nashville and the mainland of the US for many years. I knew Mr. Battle through our association with Tennessee State University. Mr. Battle was no nonsense, attentive to detail and would take no less from others. I learned extremely due diligence from my contact with Mr. Battle and for that I am forever grateful. My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the Battle family as well as the Tennessee State University family.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to the Battle Family. I knew Mr.Battle through his association with Naep. He was very active with the TAGM District and and the National Association. He truly loved Procurement and attended many meetings both regional and national. May the beautiful memories that you shared with Mr. Battle be of comfort to you during this very difficult time.
