Not sure what to say?

Thank you, Frank, again, for loaning us your 26 foot Chieftan Motorhome (with the monster 454 motor your son, Chris, built) so we could transport our Band and all of its equipment from Reno, to Las Vegas, so we could open for Lola Falana at The Sands in the Sinatra Celebrity Showroom on New Year's Eve 1989-1990. We were huge!
You were one of my longtime Nevada family's favorite and most respected Nevadans, and I owe you one. God Bless,

Brady Williams Keresey, Esq.

I am sorry to hear of Mr. Bender's passing. He was a kindly gentleman, who I knew during my brief time living in Reno and working for Bender Group. My condolences to his family and friends.

Please accept my most sincere condolences to all of the Bender family. Your Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather or friend was a mentor of mine. I was introduced to the Warehousing and Distribution business at an early age. Being young, it was at times difficult to hold conversations with peers of our industry. This was not the case with Frank Bender; Frank was part a very unique and special club where age did not obscure an opinion of a person but sincerity, honesty and strong work ethics...

Our ties go back to 1867. Every Bender - in unique
and wonderful ways - has contributed to the Best of Nevada.
Frank was my generation. He was our Gold Standard in encouraging businesses to work together to develop a strong community spirit. He even welcomed our (noisy ?) steel fabrication company as neighbors
and friends, as did his father before him. Nevada is all the greater because of the good works of families like the Benders. Our prayers to each one.

Our daughter Michelle married into a wonderful family through Chris Foy and Frank Bender was a wonderful Great-Grand Father to Jack and Hannah. Hopefully the great grand children will live a life to make the Bender's proud , where ever they may be. God Bless! Stuart and Sharyn Melnick

I had the pleasure of working with Frank Bender in regards to the development of Center for Logistics Management in the college of Business @ UNR. I admired his dedication and passion for the program ~ what a gift he left for our community and the state of Nevada!

Frank Bender was an icon in the warehousing logistics industry and Reno community. He meant so much to me personally in my life. He was very instrumental in the formation of the logistics department at UNR, for which I graduated in 1999. I started working for Bender Transportation in 1998 and still work for Bender Group today as the Business Development Manager. Thanks for all the opportunities Frank, I will miss you! God Bless.

The passing of Frank Bender is a tremendous loss to Reno and to the many people who had the privilege of knowing him. For many years I worked with Frank on numerous economic development projects and know that his sound advice and encouragement enabled us all to achieve many successes. May God bless him for all that he did for Reno/Sparks and the people that he benefited in our community.

I moved to Reno in April, 1989 and found a wonderful job and a second family in the Bender's! I worked for Frank and Chris for 16 years and they are very dear to my heart. They took care of me and treated me very well. I am very saddened to hear of Frank, but I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to have been aquainted with such a wonderful man and family! I send my deepest sympathies to all the family. May God Bless you all. Please know how much I loved Frank and all of you!!
