My Dad, Dick Murray, had the pleasure of being Frank's high school baseball coach at Sacred Heart. Dad passed away last year, but his mind was very sharp until the end of his life, and he always had wonderful memories of coaching Frank. He truly was a phenomenal player. I know his larger than life personality will be deeply missed, and I send my sincere sympathy to his family and friends.

Frank was a contagious ball of energy! Full of life and a joy to be around. He will be missed.

What a talented , humorous, and one of a kind special person. I always loved my cousin Frank and Iam blessed to have him as a family member and proud to have known him. I thank God for the time I spent a couple of hours talking with him and getting to really know him at that time , about 28 years ago in moms yard. Frank and I attended Sacred Heart High School together from 1957-1961. We became friends only after a silly disagreement over something I am unable to remember. The following morning, as we entered the classroom, we looked at one another, smiled, shook hands, and that was the beginning of our friendship. I was sorry to hear about Frank's passing. He was a wonderful classmate and one heck of a pitcher at Sacred Heart HS in San Francisco. I saw him play once as a professional against the Oakland A's. He always had a grin on his face and brought happiness to others. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
