Phyllis
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time. Even though it has been many, many years, I often think of the entire family from the days of McKinley Tech. In time, you will hold on to the precious memories and love each moment.

Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the memories forever.

To Frank Jr. and the rest of the Bolden Family, my thoughts and prayers go out to you. DC has lost a Lion, we will all miss him.

Even though we can't be there in person, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Mr Frank Bolden was the assistant principal at Cardozo when I entered 9th grade in 1964. He coached the basketball team in his spare time. He kept up with the class cutters and other miscreants who frequented the hallways and the underground track. Mr Bolden kept us on the right path with wit and respect. My condolences to the Bolden Family. He was a giant in this City.

Our hearts are saddened by the death of your and our great friend, Frank Bolden. Continue to remember the beauty of his life and take up the work he laid down. May we all ever be true to the tenets by which he lived .

To the Bolden Family, my sincere condolences. I have fond memories of Mr. Bolden. Coming into the DC school sytem, he was one of my first "teacher" on the job of labor relations. He was so kind and touched me with his "tactics". I use to look forward to thos negotiating sessions that CSO held in our office because I would have that moment to hear some kind advice from someone who was so gracious and had a warm spirit. When I think of Mr. Bolden, I think of this quote I heard a few years...

My deepest and sincere condolences to the family and other good friends of Frank P. Bolden, Sr. He was a giant among us. He was a mentor of mine, professionally, fraternally, and in life. Washington DC, the DC Public Schools, The Pigskin Club, and the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., lost a huge leader and friend. I will forever be grateful to you for your countless acts of kindness and generous support you gave me. I will always miss you and love you, my fraternity brother and friend. ...
