Frank Bott

I had the privilege of being taught by Frank at Aber 1981-1984. A wonderful man and a wonderful teacher.

Frank was such a kind and supportive head of department and mentor, so full of surprises! Whilst aware of his extensive knowledge of computing issues and music, what I did not know of was his love of ornithology. On showing us around key teaching locations in Singapore, we also passed through the Botanical Gardens. Frank held his finger to his lips and said "Listen!"
