Not sure what to say?

Dr. Frank Boutin, Sr. was probably one of the nicest, gentlest and humble man I have ever met!! Very soft spoken, his kind demeanor and sweet spirit told me he was a man of God who loved to serve his fellow men as well. Dr. Boutin was our next door neighbor in Sacramento where I grew up with my brothers and sisters—we knew him since he moved to Sacramento. We would visit many times in the yard when he was mowing his grass or doing yard work. Our son had problems walking at 13 months old...

The notice in the Sac Bee was so correct about him: he performed surgery on my foot 30 years ago; in Sutter General Hosp. the next night I told the nurse I was in extreme pain from the swelling under my cast. Dr. Boutin came there, probably from a family dinner event, in a lovely tailored Hawaiian shirt, and buzzed my cast open to relieve the pressure. My condolences to his family.

I am so glad to have met and to have had the opportunity to work with him at UCDMC..My heart and prayers are with family..

Dr. Boutin, or "Dr. B" as I knew him, changed my life in more ways than I will ever know. My mother had the pleasure of working with him for decades, and when I was born with Bi-lateral club feet he took a personal interest in making sure that I received the best possible medical care and also performed the corrective surgery himself. Without Dr. B. I would never have been able to walk. Today I can run! He enabled me to have the amazing life that I live today and for that I am forever...

Dear Tink and family, we are so sad to hear of Frank's passing,
As our neighbors and friends since Woodland the Harris Family was blessed to know Frank. Frank enriched all of our lives! He will be missed!

Dr. Boutin changed my life with a spinal surgeon, and saved me from a life in a wheel chair when I was 22 - 32 years ago! I am grateful every day of my life for Dr. Boutin's skill as a surgeon, and his humble kindness as a human being. I am grateful to his family - he visited me in the hospital every morning in the wee hours, as well as every evening. I know that you must have all missed him very much, and I appreciate your sacrifices as a family. I was able to have four children (one set of...

A wonderful life, by any measure.
