Not sure what to say?

Knew Coach by reputation only except for one occasion at a summer basketball camp. He had been reffing in PAC 10 and came to speak to us at the camp. He found out I was from SHS and sought me out to introduce himself! I was impressed to say the least, plus he shared a funny PAC 10 refereeing story that he could not repeat publicly but he shared it with me! He wished me well and said he hoped he would see me in one of his games in a couple of years!

Rest well Coach!

Many fond memories officiating with Frank in the Pac8/10. Always a professional who somehow always got the job done with ease, a smile on his face, and with a great sense of humor.

Greg and Family, we are saddened by the news of your father's passing. He impacted so many and he will never be forgotten.

RIP Coach. ThankU for all you have done. Grant High is a better place because of U. We cherish our memories and know you are on the winning team.

I am so terribly sorry for your loss, Diane! I am extremely glad that I just "popped by" a few months ago, and went with you to Frank's wonderful care home there in the country! We spent nearly two hours with Frank, that afternoon! Frank seemed to enjoy our interaction and when I said my goodbyes and whispered in his ear that I loved him, he had a big smile on his face! Our time went by too fast.

In 1968 I met Frank at Sports Acres;" Tom DeSylvia's football camp. He was a coach for kids like me fortunate enough to get there. A wonderful man, who touched my life. Thanks Frank.

The Grant High memories flood back in learning you passed away Mr. Buckiewicz. Say hi to my cousin Craig Piennett up there. I won't ever forget what you both gave us winning against Roseburg and later the co-championship. Blessings. And thanks.

Sorry for your loss Buckiewicz family.
I use to babysit the boys when you lived in NE Portland.
