Not sure what to say?

I lived on Carr Ave. down the street from the Byrds in the early 90's and also attend IC. I always welcomed the chance to speak with Mr. Byrd. He always had a kind word and a smile on his face whenever I saw him. He will be missed and made the world a warmer place with his presence. May God bless Mr. Byrd and his family. Frank Byrd is such a special man, one whom I will always have fond memories of when bringing a mixture of friends together. His gift of understanding in diverse situations continues to amaze me! Sharing the same birthday always accentuated his "Special" waffle days! I will miss him immensely, but know he will be with us always.

Dear Helen and Family: I am so sorry about your loss of Mr. Byrd. I know he is in heaven with my Dad and his other friends and family members. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

Uncle Frank was my godfather and a wonderful uncle. My children now know the meaning of a Great Uncle! Our hearts and prayers are with all of the Byrds today.

We were neighbors to the Byrd family on Carrington Rd.in the early 1950's.Mr. and Mrs. Byrd and their children made lifelong impressions on me that abide to this day. Their example was a blessing to me and I give thanks to God for the life of Mr.Byrd.

Although we knew Mr. Byrd only casually, we have felt his influence through friendship with two of his wonderful children. Thank you for their existence in our world. God bless you all. Fondly, Barb and Bill McKee.

A wonderful friend. We will miss him ever so much. We have many fond memories which we will treasure. We know as the prayer of St.Francis of Assis states "as it is in dying that we are born to eternal life"
