This lazy Father's Day morning, my husband and I watched the movie "Hearts of the West," in which Mr. Cady played Pa Tater. That led to a discussion of his roles in old TV shows such as Petticoat Junction; coincidentally, there is a decrepit old Shady Rest Hotel in the town in which we now reside.
