Wow. A year has passed already. I think of Frank quite often. Especially now since our 50th high school reunion is being planned for 2020 & Frank, Mike & John were to get together again as Salt & Pepper' to entertain their classmates one more time. I know Frank is up there entertaining all of our friends that have passed with his guitar & voice. I'll see you again over the Rainbow Bridge. Hugs.

So sad to hear this terrible news, albeit, months after his passing. My daughter and I shared many moments in the early 1990s watching Frank's show. We even ran into him a few time in the Bourse Shops and my toddler was ecstatic. Frank was such a humble guy. His 15 minutes of fame lasted 3 years on TV and a lifetime thereafter. I was just looking at a very old VHS tape of mine last week and unbeknownst to me it contained episodes of Frank's tv show. Sigh....life is moving by too fast. Thanks...

His name was Frank Cappelli and he had been a teacher in the Philadelphia area and had just moved back to Pittsburgh and he was looking for some work. Cappelli played the guitar and wrote songs. At the time I knew that the chamber group would not be available to perform after May because of their school's semester break.
Frank Cappelli's...

I was so sorry to learn of Frank Cappelli's passing. I watched all of his shows with my sons when they were toddlers. One show Frank did was in the Commons Room of the Cathedral of Learning and I took my sons there; they were so excited to sit in the big chair that Frank Cappelli had sat and sang in! Wonderful memories of his great shows. My sympathy to the Cappelli family. A wonderful warm and talented children's entertainer. He will be missed.
A forever fan
