In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Mr. Cascio,
Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Auntie Cammella, Sonny, Joannie and
family. I'm so sorry about Uncle Frankie. I didn't find out until wednesday night. My nephew found the message on Lorraines voice mail at her home. She's not home she is in the hospital for the past week. Please excuse our not being there and we send our deepest sympathy and regards. I love you guys and we will talk soon. Cousin Paul

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this time of sorrow. May your memories bring you comfort.
