Not sure what to say?

What a genuine man, I had the privilege to be taught valuable lessons from him mostly about life. He made me want to go to school instead of the beach, which back in those days you could easily walk of campus, late 70's Torrey Pines HS. He was easy to approach and I just happened to be talking to my wife about him when I found this. God gained a huge man on his playing field. It's been 50 years and I still think of him. Weird thing is I also moved to Pinellas County. God bless you, big guy xx

Frank was a great man and teacher! I went to Torrey Pines HS and graduated 1997. At that time he wasn´t part of the baseball program. My dad being Rollie Fingers and his brother being Chris and them playing against each other in the 70´s we would talk a lot about baseball and came really close! I was his teacher aid my senior year in his history class. I remember bringing him breakfast quite often and we´d eat together before class started. Always enjoyed seeing him in the hallways of school.

1st time driving down to a ball game is SD with Frank had to put the radio on as he said cannot drive w/o radio on, after that always had radio on when driving with Frank

Quite saddened to learn of Frank's passing I had the privilege to get to know Frank and Linda as their neighbor in Ca. before he moved to Fla., to pursue his love of baseball. Frank help me in coaching youth basketball and I and my son Daniel learned a lot from him. He was always a joy to have as a friend and mentor and will always remember his ability to teach the young men about not only sports, but life, and ethics of growing up to be good caring people. The world has lost a kind and...

I was saddened to hear of Frank's passing. One of my favorite upperclassman. The photo is perfect. In my mind's eye that is how I picture Frank, full of glee and mischief.

One of the most wonderful humans to ever walk this great Earth. He inspired so many people. The Lord’s wisdom echoed through Frank’s words. I will see you in heaven my friend. May God’s angels watch over Linda and the rest of your family. You will truly be missed! But we know you are in a better place inside those pearly gates.

I was sorry to hear of Franks passing , he was my " go to guy " whenever I needed a sub for my P.E. classes. He was very comfortable in the P.E. department because of his athletic background and my classes enjoyed having him as a sub. He really was a great guy , he loved his sports !

Please except my deepest sympathies, May the love of GOD, friends and family carry you through your grief.

Frank was a frequent substitute teacher at Seminole High School in Pinellas County, FL. Frank was a great guy & story teller. Whenever I was needing a sub, I made sure I secured Frank. You always knew your classes were in good hands with Frank. RIP.
