Frank Chlumsky

Frank Chlumsky, age 88, Stickney, IL died peacefully in his daughter's home in Baytown, TX on December 13th, 2009, two months and twenty-three days after the death of Joan, his beloved wife of sixty-eight years. Born Sept 14th, 1921 in Brookfield, IL to Frank and Emma Chlumsky, Frank lived a full and vibrant life that included a great love of his family, friends, food, and horses. He owned race horses, competed in the Olympic trials as a jumper and opened two restaurants with son Frank Jr. He is survived by sister Lavergne (Ledo) Galligani. Loving father of Frank (Donna) Chlumsky, Donna Victor) Cerny, Thomas Chlumsky, Jayme (Brian) Lawhon, and Tammy (Jay) Gomez, Nancy Chlumsky, Dan Komornicki, and Ken Meudt, cherished Grandfather of Victor (Therese) Cerny, Jeannine Cerny, Anna (Shaun) So, Daniel Komornicki, Alyssa Meudt, Oliver Komornicki, Frank Chlumsky IV, Arley Meudt, and John Wesley Lawhon.
