Not sure what to say?

He was an amazing teacher. He was very special to us the graduating Class of 1987. I remember him saying Ok Mrs Michael Jackson, You need to get to class now, lol! He was so funny. He made all of laugh. When our was time to be serious we sit and listen to him. I'm so saddened to hear about his passing. I send my heartfelt condolences to his family. The Class of 1987 Graduates and Alumni sends our love. Rest easy, Mr. Cicarell and thank you for everything.

At Jefferson High School from 1971-73, I was lucky enough to have Mr. Cicarell as a principal. He was a great coach and principal who had the respect of everyone and held the school together during some difficult times. He gave me confidence that I could make a difference in this world. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends and I will always miss him.

There are few men in life that achieve greatness, "coach" was one of them. I will truly miss him. My sympathy goes out to his family and my dear friend Renae. Elizabeth has truly lost a great man.

My sincere condolences to Mr Cicarell's family. He was a good man, a inspiration for many.
My principal in 1977, the last year of Thomas Jefferson High School-lots of good memories-

I was so sorry to hear of Coach Cicarell's passing. I only learned of it 2 weeks late. He was a truly great man. Glen Vida

I GREW UP IN SCOTCH PLAINS BUT NOW LIVE AND WORK IN PARSIPPANY BUT I WOULD ALWAYS COME DOWN TO THE DUNN CENTER TO WATCH BASKETBALL AND WHILE THIER I COULD ALWAYS BET I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO LEAVE THAT GAME I WAS AT WITHOUT TALKING TO MR. CICARELL. HE WILL BE MISSED BY SO MANY PEOPLE. THE ONE THING EVERYBODY HAS TO REMEMBER IS THAT NOBODY, I MEAN NOBODY EVER HAD ANYTHING NEGATIVE TO SAY ABOUT HIM. I ALONG WITH THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE...
