I am so sorry for your lost. Mr. Clark was principal when I went to Edison School. He was always kind to my family. When I was in Fourth grade my house went on fire while I was at school. I lived across the stree from the school and I could watch the fire from my classroom window. Mr. Clark came to my class and bought me home. He stayed with my mom and me until he knew she had everything under control. I will never forget that day.
Another time when he was running for mayor in Union...

My sympathy goes out to the Clark family. I just read of Mr. Clark's passing and want to attest as well to the "greatness" of the man. He is one of the few people in this world that you had never heard anyone speaking a bad word about. Pat my sincere condolences to you and your MOM and the rest of your family. Jim Aymar

iwent to edison as did my brother&sister,mr clark was a great man i spent many a day talking with him and i always felt better after i did.a good man is gone.i will always remember him.

I was transferred in the middle of the 5th Grade from St. Joseph's to Edison. Mr. Clark was wonderful with the kids. I should know - I was sent to the office many times, & rather than being made to sit in the outer office, he'd have me sit with him in his office chatting. I'm sure he made a great impact on the lives of many students, as he did mine and that of my daughter Dina. A terrific man!

My name is Dina and my family is from Union City. I am 36 years old now but I still remember my kindergarden days when Mr. Clark carried me to school on his shoulders. I attended Edison School when Mr. Clark was Principal. He was there when I started kindergarden and he was there when I graduated. I have always remembered Mr. Clark. He was a kind, loving man. A true gentleman. He will be sadly missed but always remembered. Our prayers and thoughts are with your family.
