Frank H. Columbus

I have learned this morning, March 2, 2011, that Frank Columbus died. I never met him but he was dear to me. When he read the first infant chapters of the book I was writing about World War II, he telephoned me with his enthusiasm and support. We enjoyed many subsequent conversations about the subject matter as we progressed toward publication. Today I am feeling the loss and sorrow for his absence in the many lives he influenced.
