Frank B. Contuzzi

I had Mr. Contuzzi as a pod teacher in 1983. I can't belive he is gone. I just found out yesterday (11/05/08). I was telling my wife last night how he would tell us not to lean back on our chairs because we could fall and get hurt. We were taking a test then all of a sudden there was a crashing sound. We all looked up and Mr Contuzzi was stuck between his chair and the wall...he had been leaning his chair back and fell. He got up with a big smile on his face and said he was trying to...

I am so very sad to hear of the passing of Mr.Contuzzi. He was my favorite teacher back in 1970. He was my inspiration to become a teacher. He was the greatest. We have stayed in contact up until about 3 years ago when he left the high school. We had such great talks. I am very sad that I did not know until today and did not go to the services. I will miss him.

I grew up down the street from the Contuzzi's, and although I haven't spoken with them for years, the memories are still very vivid. I graduated with Mike and Jenny, and played ball with Joey. Whenever I was at their house, Mr. Contuzzi was always warm and welcoming. My memories with the entire family are so positive, and I wish I could be there to say goodbye to a wonderful man.

We are so sad to hear of Mr. Contuzzi's passing. Both my husband and I had him for a teacher and he was the greatest. We will never forget him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Frank Contuzzi was my cooperating teacher (mentor) when I began my teaching career with the Hillsborough School District in 1971. I am sadden by his passing. Frank was an inspiration for me and reflected a perfect role model as an educator. He was well liked and respected by both students and colleagues. Frank had a natural gift for teaching; he helped make learning possible for all types of learners. Even the most troublesome and hard to reach student was touched by Mr. Contuzzi's classroom...

Mr. Contuzzi was my eighth grade teacher at Lopatcong School. He made learning, a thirst for knowledge and having an open mind cool. He was a wonderful teacher and it was sad learning of his passing. He will be remembered fondly by a group of rowdy eighth graders from Lopat.

mr. contuzzi was always my favorite teacher. no matter what he went to bat for me. there are very few teachers that you can tell really love what they do. every year was his last year, but he kept coming back because he really cared about all of us. he was one of the biggest influences in my education. thank you for everything mr. contuzzi.

Mr. Contuzzi was my eighth grade teacher way back when he taught at Lopatcong Township School. He was a memorable and wonderful teacher, as well as someone who managed to gain the respect of rebelious teenagers. My condolences to his family and friends.
