Frank drove the family´s 1956 Oldsmobile 98. It was pretty fast! One day he raced Mike Seltzer who was driving his family´s 1961 Chevy Impala. As they "flew" down Astor Avenue from Esplanade Avenue to Eastchester Road, Mike lost control of the Impala, spun out and landed sideways on Wilson Avenue ! Luckily, no injuries or damage ! Score 1 for Frank !!!!

John & Carmen Cortez consider you one of our most best friend for life. We have know you for over 40 years and have cherish the reunions that we have celebrated. I have to many good memories to mention but please know that you will always live in our minds. I still have the your funeral card with us in our house posted with other family remembers. Sorry about the late posting, but to this date you are remembered.

When Frank was in grammar school, PS 89, he acquired the nickname: "Link"
It stuck and was frequently used amongst his old friends his entire life, yet few knew the origin.
In the early 1950s, the prettiest teacher in PS 89, Bronx, NY, Miss Marshak,
was complementing the already handsome, young Frank.
One of the things said was: "You must be the missing link !" a complement referring to how tall he was.

I can not beleive it has been a year. I think about you every day. I try to smile thinking of you and all the funny stories that I was lucky to have shared. You have touched so many lives and all of us wish you were here today.I miss you and love you.
