It was because of his down to earth sermons and his warm, open manner that I decided to become confirmed and to join Emanual United Presbyterian Church after attending for some time with my boyfriend and his family. Jeanne, you and Frank and I go back a loooonnnggg time. I remember visiting him in the hospital after his multiple valve heart surgery (something I had several years later). Always the joker, plugged the Ducks especially cuz I was, like you, a Beaver!. Fond memories of conversations and his way of really trying to get into my skin...but always with a warm bit of support. Really appreciated his ministry even though I was not in the area until he moved to where I assume you now live west of...
