Frank Cresci passed away Monday, October 19, 2020 in Petaluma. Age, 81 years. Beloved husband for 61 years of Roseanna Cresci of Petaluma. Father of Frances Cresci, Sharon Cresci, Kathleen Cresci Brodie and her husband Peter and the late Joseph and Steven Cresci. Grandfather of Tamisha, Deanna and Isabella. Great-grandfather of Kristina. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law Kathleen and Joe and his Aunt, Linda Tarantino. The family would also like to acknowledge his caregiver Michelle Pickern for her dedicated care for him. Frank was born, reared and educated in San Francisco graduating from Galileo High School in 1958. Frank was a longshoreman for over 40 years in San Francisco. He was an avid history buff, and especially enjoyed tracing family lineage through genealogy, but above all he was a dedicated family man and enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends. He was a longtime, loving, dedicated and devoted member of the Madonna del Lume, Most Holy Mother of Light, San Francisco, Italian Catholic Federation, St. James branch 127 and The Sons and Daughters of Italy in America, Cesere Batisti Lodge 1518. A celebration of Frank’s life will be held Friday, October 30, 2020 at 11AM at the Fisherman’s and Seaman’s Memorial Chapel at Pier 45, San Francisco, California. Private inurnment, Italian Cemetery, Colma, California.
