Frank was an awesome man to work for and with. During my tenure at Lane Meat Comapny, I was able to put together several purchasing programs with some chain accounts, and he always respected my opinion and was the first to jump in and do whatever needed to be done to help me and help the customer. He was just a great man and I shall always appreciate the fact that God placed me there in that time to be influenced by him. Many would not know, but he was quite a cook, and he was always...

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time. Frank was a very significant part of our life. With him as a mentor I have become very successful in the meat industry. Frank was very instrumental in shaping our standard of living. We are very thankful and our blessed to have known Frank as a boss and good friend.

TO THE FAMILY. SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR FATHERS PASSING. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS BE WITH YOU THROUGH THESE HARD TIMES. I WILL NEVER FORGET YOUR FATHER, HE HELPED MOLD ME INTO THE MAN I AM TO DAY. I LEARNED A LOT GROWING UP IN THE INDUSTRY WITH HIM TEACHING ME, HONESTY, TO BE TRUST WORTHY, DEPEDIBLE, HARD WORKING, AS I LOOK BACK HE TRUSTED ME WITH ALOT AT EIGHTEEN YEARS OLD. THANK-YOU FRANK FOR ALL YOU DID FOR ME AND MY FAMILY. Dale ficek

My thoughts go to all of you, as close family friends through my parents, neighbors along Moore Avenue and Ainsworth Street in Portland, survivors of near-tragedy when Mike fell from my treehouse, and, of course, as a freezing summer worker for Frank in the meat packing plant's shipping department. In all those roles Frank was a good man.

My thoghts are with all of you.
