I'd like to express my condolences to Carol, Denise and Family. Though we haven't been in touch for so long, I do have so many fond memories back on McLaughlin Street in South Beach. My memories of Uncle Frankie, like my dad's will be very dear to me. He was a sweet,funny man. At family gatherings you could always count on him for a smile and his good naturedness. My children always wanted to know if " Uncle Johnny Carson" was coming because they always knew he would be making their "thumbs disappear" or telling them jokes. He helped them feel important among all the grown-ups and he was always happy to see you.He was also a quiet man, like my dad,never one to make waves...
