June 9, 2019 Mike Messerre´s last game. coach Messerre then and maybe now had the most victories and best winning percentage. Frank and I spent 4 hours going there 3 hours at the game and then 4 hours back. GREAT day catching up on 43 years since playing soccer for Genny.

Dear Kathleen, Thomas, Paul, Caitlin and families, our deepest sympathy on the loss of your dear husband, father, grandfather. We will always remember Frank as hardworking, intelligent, nonjudgmental, generous and funny. He had a smile for everyone he met and never put on airs. We have so many great memories with your family during the grade school and high school hockey years. We will always appreciate Frank´s dedication and selflessness as President of North Pittsburgh hockey association....

This is very sad moment. Frank served for many years as an enthusiastic and dedicated member of the Hotel, Restaurant, Tourism, and Event Management Program, Eberly College of Business, Management Department, Indiana University of Pennsylvania - as chairperson of this distinguished board. His daughter, Caitlyn, is a graduate of the program. We all love Frank (and Caitlyn) and send our prayers. We will all miss you.

Frank was one of the best managers I ever had at Mellon. He did so much for his employees and the wider Mellon team, especially when he served as the executive sponsor of the employee affinity network for people with disabilities. He never lacked a smile or a good word for staff. His "to do" spreadsheets were legendary! My condolences to Kathleen and family, he will truly be missed.

I only met Frank once, but heard so many lovely stories about him from his sister, Lisa. May we all strive to allow his memory to live on through kindness and generosity as he so often demonstrated. My thoughts are with Frank's family at this time, as they celebrate an amazing life.

I grew up down the street from Frank and his family on Jane Drive. As young kids, we would often get together for impromptu games and I enjoyed playing with Frank and Linda. The Dittrich family also hosted an annual neighborhood block party in some years, they were very inviting to all. Just a great family and I am sorry for your loss.

I was an intern for Frank about a decade ago. He was such an inspirational force for good in my life. He was the first business professional I ever really knew at that point in my life, and his teachings continue shape my life today. May his memory be eternal.

Worked with Frank for several years when he came to Mellon Financial in Pittsburgh PA. He was a good man and a fair and pleasant manager. So sorry to hear, may he RIP.
