Sr. Chief Frank L Dobek (USN ret) passed away May 27th at Mercy San Juan Hospital. Born August 15, 1927 in Dunkirk NY, Frank is preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Norma Jean, and his 6 brothers and 1 sister. Grandpa...I played softball this weekend for u....sry we didn't win we took 4th but u always said ur always guna be my lil MVP....I got MVP this weekend....I cnt believe it was a year ago yesterday...I miss u so much I cried an cried all day...I love u with all my heart....aiden would have loved to make cookies with you now....he's a cookie master like you.

We will miss you Uncle Frank. It was always a pleasure spending time with you when you came back to visit. Jake & Kelley

Uncle Frank you will be sadly missed. We were looking forward to upcoming visit this July no wedding this year but the good old County Fair was to be the highlight along with some cold beer and a few games of Pinochle. Our heartfelt condolences go out to your family. This weekend you will be remembered at the Mariusz’s 1st birthday party the beer will be cold and cards will be dealt in your honor. You will be sadly missed God BlessYou.

Frank Dobek will never be forgotten ...He will always be with me in all that I do for all the wisdom he shared with me...Being a new Commander of VFW Post 6158 he helped guide me in how to be a good Commander...Playing poker was always so much fun with him sitting at the table that I will miss his poker face also...Frank was always there to help with Sunday breakfast at the Post cooking and sharing tales of his time in the Service of the U.S. Navy...me being in the U.S. Army and him in the...
