Not sure what to say?

I had such respect for Chief Dyson. He not only was a great administrator but also a fine person. It was a real privilege to work for him. Deepest sympathy to the family for your loss.

My sympathy and condolences in the loss of Frank Dyson: The best of Law Enforcement Administrators and a colleague who was admired, respected, and important to me.

It was my good fortune that Frank was Chief of Police in Dallas when I was appointed City Manager. He was the best, of the highest of professional standards, one with the loftiest objectives for the Dallas Police, a pacesetter, and one of great courage.

He was, most importantly, a fine person of...

Heaven has certainly gained a jewel. When I began my career w/Dallas PD in 1955, Frank was my Sgt., & he was responsible for my receiving the 1955 Rookie of the Year Award. He was not only a wonderful supervisor, but a good friend as well. He was highly respected by all officers of DPD & we were proud to see him "go up the ranks" - probably one of the best Chiefs Dallas has ever had. Rest in Peace, my Friend in Blue. I'll see you again one day.

I had the privilege and honor to work with Chief Dyson in Austin. He was a great chief and always had a smile and said hello when he saw you.
Condolences and prayers to his family. He will be missed by all those who knew him.

I had the pleasure to work with Chief Dyson when I worked at the City of Austin. I had a lot of respect for him and was honored to be associated with him. Rest in peace Chief.

Godspeed Chief.
