Not sure what to say?

I worked with Paul Engels many years ago when I first graduated college and was a "newbie" as a Systems Programmer under him. Paul was a terrific manager, because he listened... and had a very calm demeanor about him, which in turn, always calmed others. I don't ever remember talking with him, without leaving with a smile. Now "there's" a teacher! Rest in peace Paul and thanks for the education.

While I never had the opportunity to work for Paul directly, you could tell from his team he was an awesome manager. His spirit was always calming and trusting. The world has lost a great man, many thoughts and prayers to Joanne and his family through this time.

Paul had an immeasurable impact on my life when he extended his confidence and offered me an opportunity to join the Pratt IT family. He was a genuine model of professionalism to me. He always had your back. I found him to be of few words at times but when he spoke, it was sound judgement. Eternally grateful. Rest in Peace Paul...

I worked with Paul for many years at P&W in Florida. He was such a kind man, always ready to jump in and help. God Bless Paul and his Family.

My dad, the greatest man I have ever known. My father never raised his voice and had infinite patience. He was fair, funny and a wonderful confidante. I doubt I would have ever passed a math class without his help. He would literally sit with me for hours until I got it. Later in life, he found the love of his life with his wife Joann. I am forever grateful to her for making my dad so happy. Dad, I will miss you forever, and there won't be a day that goes by that I won't think of you. I miss...

Thoughts for his family, especially Joann.
I worked with Paul and Joann for several years in my time at P&W. Always found Paul to be a helpful, and a calming influence on many. One of the good guys.

Working with Paul is one of my earliest memories in working at Pratt & Whitney. He was tough, had high expectations, and was demanding. But these were the attributes that he managed to instill in me... and he didn't cross the line. And he was smiling and jovial on a personal level. I have always had the utmost respect for Paul, and will include him and the family in my prayers.

Paul was my manager for many years at Pratt & Whitney. One of the best I have ever had in my career. I doubt I would have had the success I've experienced without that opportunity. He was manager, mentor, advisor and a friend. We shared interests in computers, programming, music and technology. Paul, you will be missed.

I can honestly say I have never met anyone that did not get treated fairly from Paul. In the 20 years I worked at Pratt Whitney he was certainly one of the few that I would ask for advice and not regret doing that. Paul was a straight shooter and would assist you any way he could within his realm of control. I liked Paul as a person and respected his decisions. He is a loss on and his memory will never fade from any and all who knew him. Good Luck Paul and may you go with GOD and may GOD...
