Frank A. Erickson, 93, of Hendersonville, North Carolina, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home surrounded by his family on July 4, 2017.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents Frank A. and Ethel Erickson and his sister Jane McKinley.
Frank was born in Sherman, NY, graduated from Jamestown High School, Jamestown, NY and served in the United States Navy in World War II on the USS Strauss in the Pacific. Frank and Carol moved to Hendersonville, NC in 1966 where he worked at General Electric and retired in 1986. They moved to Pensacola, FL for retirement and returned to Hendersonville in 2002. He was a member of the Mills River United Methodist Church, American Legion and The Elks Club.
He is survived by his beloved wife Carol Mae Erickson of 70 years, sons Jeff Erickson and wife Ilse of The Villages, FL, Greg Erickson and wife Jane of Fleetwood, NCand Jan Stanley and husband Paul of Hendersonville, NC. He loved his grandkids Chris Erickson, Nikki Erickson, Ashley Hutchins and husband Kevin, Tiffany Lowrance and husband Robbie, Brooke Kraham and husband Zach, Jason Stanley and wife Michelle and Robin Owens and great grandkids Jake, Zach, Cooper, Rylee Mae, Stella, Addysen and Whitaker.

The Celebration of Life for Frank will be at the Mills River United Methodist Church on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with The Reverend Jeff McCumber officiating.
