Frank James Evans, Jr. was born on August 18, 1948 to Hattie Reese Long and Frank James Evans, Sr. the famous baseball player of the Negro League Monarch.



Frank lived in Kansas City, Missouri, where he attended Westport and Lincoln High School. Later Frank moved to Wichita, Kansas where he finished out his High School years. Frank was a people person. Everyone loved him and he loved everyone.



In 2011, Frank became a member of Victorious Life Church under the pastorate of Bishop Mark C. Tolbert, Frank faithfully attended and enjoyed the Sunday Morning Worship Service.



He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife Yolanda Osborn Evans; three children, James Armster (LaTasha), Vonnya Seamster, and Tre Danniel; four step children, Franchelle Osborn, Raymond Osborn, Derrian Osborn, Burma Jones; nine sisters, Jennette Evans Kimble, Brenda Bernette (Robert), Yonnie DeCarlo Johnson, Tiffany Wilson, Yolanda Thomas, Mellanisa Diamond and Cordelia Sister; three brothers, Jimmie Long, Larry Long (Annie), Cornell Long; three special funeral a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, friends and the Victorious Life Church Family.



 



Three special ladies Willie Osborn, Mahoma Smith, Alice Gilroy, and One special great grandson Prince Christopher.
