Not sure what to say?

I always enjoyed my trips to Wingert-Jones and Frank was always there to help a newby select great literature. It was also an honor to play for a season in the OP Community Band. We will miss him dearly.

A TRULY GREAT MAN OF HONOR, KINDNESS AND INTELLECT! HIS LIFE INFLUENCED THOUSANDS OF YOUNG MUSIC STUDENTS, MUSIC EDUCATORS AND PERFORMERS! ALWAYS A KIND WORD, MORAL AND PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT ACCOMPANIED WITH HIGH PERSONAL STANDARDS AND THE HIGHEST VALUES. FRANK WAS ONE OF A VALUED FEW WHO COULD BRING MUSIC AND JOY TO THOUSANDS. I COUNT HIM AS ONE OF THE MAJOR INFLUENCES ON MY CAREER AND LIFE.

Frank and Barbara were our Slater Lane friends for 39 years.
They will be missed.

Mr. Fendorf was one of my absolute favorite teachers! I have wonderful memories of my time in the Chillicothe band

He was so well loved by everyone in the band at Chillicothe High School during the 60's. We were all devastated when he left for Kansas City. Remembered fondly.

Dear Fred & family;
So sorry to hear the loss of your awesome Father. We go back many years, 50+,of sharing with your wonderful Mother, Dad, & you too at the church. So recall, you and Karl as alter boys for sometime.
Prior to moving to Las Vegas, so enjoyed Dad's musical talent with the Overland Park Band, Cletson Cox and many other band members.
Wishing you comfort & peace at this difficult time.
