It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather, Frank E. Flores, age 84, of Las Cruces. He was born October 4, 1933 in Deming to Isaac and Mary Orona Flores. In 1989, Frank retired from the Department of Defense at White Sands Missile Range as a Missile Engineer and a devoted member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Leones de Mesilla.
Those left to mourn his passing include his loving wife, Gloria Vega Flores of the family home; three daughter, Gina Blackwell, of Alpharetta, GA, Debbie Borunda and husband, Leo of Las Cruces, and Sylvia Flores of Hurst, TX; a brother, Manuel "Manny" Flores of Winter Park, FL and a sister, Betty Trujillo and husband, Dan of Las Cruces. Other survivors include his four grandchildren, Danielle, Andrea, Ryan and Connor. Frank was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Helen Ochoa.
Family and Friends will gather at 6 PM Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Baca's Funeral Chapel, 300 E. Boutz Road where the Prayer Vigil is scheduled for 7 PM. The Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 3 PM Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, 1240 S. Espina Street with the Reverend Joshua Duplissey, Celebrant. Inurnment of cremains will take place at a later date at Immaculate Heart of Mary Columbarium.

I grew up with his daughter Sylvia, from 1st grade to high school. As a little girl I spent many wonderful moments in the Flores household, which was always full of love and laughter. Though those times are years away now, the memories remain.
