Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs Gass, Ellyn and Family

I am so sorry to hear about your loss, I too lost someone very close to me, my father, who I was very close to. I understand the pain you feel. Losing a loved one opens many questions that we hope will be answered. This parting is only temporary, I truly believe we will be with them again. I will pray that God will give you and your family the strength to go on.
Sincerely,

Dear Ellyn and Family, Nate and I are very sad to hear of the loss of your dad. We know that he is with The Lord now and has a special mission to do for him. Take comfort in that. He will always be in your heart. You will always carry him with you. No one can take those awesome memories away. We are sorry that we never got to meet him but I understand he was quite an incredible man. We will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.

To my old friend Ellyn and her family,
Although the years have passed and our lives have taken their destined paths, I still remember the visits to your home and the kindness your family always showed me. The meetings were few , but the impression your family made on me was huge. Your father was so kind and your mother endearing, together they made every stranger feel welcomed and never a stranger for too long. I hope that you take comfort in knowing that despite the many miles between...
