FRANK GEHRY

I and my family will miss Frank so very much. We send our sincerest blessings to his family and pray that he rests in peace, forever. He was a friend for the last several years, as well as my design professor at SCI Arc in 1973/4. Later in life, I sailed with him out of Marina del Rey and enjoyed spending time with him over the years. Frank has left a tremendous legacy for humanity to enjoy for the next several generations. with love and appreciation forever.

Frank Gehry was a friend of the family. He welcomed us in 1975 when we came as students to California. We spent some time in his house , and he introduced us to quite a few L.A. artists. Later in 1983, we spend a week end in his incredible house. Every time he went to Paris, we met him with great pleasure. He was a genius, but remained very simple. We will miss him.

My deepest condolences to you all on the passing of an incredible architect, visionary and just a wonderful teacher. He will always be a part of my classroom lessons, never forgotten. Frank Gehry's new address in Heaven is undoubtedly awesome. What a lovely and gifted man. Almost thirty years ago, as I took my first semester of Architecture, I sent Mr. Gehry a letter and a design sketch. He actually took time to reply with encouragement. His letter meant so much to me. G-d bless Mrs. Gehry and his dear family.
