Not sure what to say?

Oh, Unc, I wish you could have met your grandnieces.

Jean,
I just found out about Frank. I have such wonderful memories of those wonderful years at St.Joseph Academy. He was an inspiration to all of us, faculty and students. May you be at peace. Love.

Jean--my prayers are with you and your family. I think of you often. I'll call in a few weeks and let's try to keep in touch.

To Mrs. Gross and Family,

It is with tremendous sorrow that I learn of the passing of Mr. Gross. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Mr. Frank Gross has been a major influence in my life. He opened the world of the Arts to me. The classes he taught in Art History and Film and Tape Arts has remained with me for over 30 years. He epitomized the NOCCA experience for me. He will always remain in my heart and mind. From the "other Frank", NOCCA Visual Arts student 1974-1977.

As a former student at St. Joseph's Academy, I read with great regret about the death of Mr. Gross. He was my World History teacher and no one ever made a subject so much fun as well as educational. (I still remember his "Quest for the golden Pepper" exam and all the drawings he used to make on our test papers). He was a remarkable educator. My deepest condolences to his family. He and they are in my prayers.

Mrs. Gross and family,

You will be in my thoughts and prayers. I am a former student from St. Joseph's Academy in the 1960's and a former co-worker at NOCCA for a brief five months in the very late 1970's. It has been very long since I've seen you--the last time was in Langenstein's in Metairie but I have no idea of the year. I will never forget Mr. Gross' lively spirit and enthusiasm. He was a great guy!

Surely Mr. Gross will be remembered with great fondness by all whose...
