Frank was truly one of a kind - generous, funny, articulate, thoughtful, cultured, and effortlessly fun-loving at his core. Frank´s unique blend of kindness and humor was rare, and it meant the world to everyone fortunate enough to know him. The Gug family, and Frank himself, has had a profound influence on my life, enriching it with meaning and joy in ways I´m deeply grateful for. Rest in peace Mr G. I´ll always remember going to the Pits and rowing out to go fishing with you and you telling me I was the best rower because I didn´t scare the fish.

Just a wonderful person. We shared a double house in Columbus for a few yearsI taught with him at the Columbus Folk Music Centerjammed between lessons. He loved playing CHEROKEE.

Oh I am so sad to hear of Franks passing. He was my first guitar teacher. I love loved him. Always so soft spoken. Always encouraging. I would go visit him when he lived in Upper Arlington. He was just one of the good guys.
